Huntington Beach Urgent Care

I had a Covid test months before and was impressed with the service and friendliness. Then recently, I returned at the suggestion of my primary care physician on the same floor, after a severe injury to both hands and fingers the prior week. Once again the folks at the clinic were friendly, very competent, and actually assisted me toward understanding and guiding me in my ongoing healing progress. Dr. Natasha Thomas is a gem. Love her.... Richard B. Boddie Legend in his own mind !!

Sherri Smith helped me out the first time I had a problem that’s why I’m giving them 3 stars but two other times I went about a rash and excessive itching plus swelling on my ankles, she dismissed me pretty carelessly. I have been having problems and I really felt like she just did not care at all to help me out. :( so for those two times 0 starts one for each time. I’ve moved away since. I hope she cares about her patients, I hate when people get desensitized after working in the medical field for any amount of time, it’s wrong. I don’t know if she truly believed it was “all in my head” or if she did not care, but It’s important to remember how important it is to treat each patient with care to help them alíviate whatever health problem they may be encountering.

Too bad zero/negative stars are not possible. COVID testing: I made an appt, showed up, no one there which the office confirmed. The medical assistant Steven had an emergency, no problem, we all have them. ISSUES: 1) lack of communication leading to waste of my time 2) the arrogance of Dr Natasha Thomas who literally hung up on me as I tried to reschedule by citing busy-ness of the clinic. Horrible experience.

This is the best Urgent care for me for the past 11 years now staff are efficient, caring and I don't wait too long to see a physician. Service and Care never change for more than a decade still thr best / excellence service. Doctors always listen to what patient needs. I'm always grateful with the staff and physicians who take good care of me.

Went to been seen about a rash. The nurse taking vitals and asked why are you here. I began explaining symptoms and before I could finish she rudely interrupted me going on to another question. I asked her can i finish?. Seems that maybe my answer was too long?? She also took the pad that she had ask me to complete my medical info and personal info on before I could finish. The doctor came o , a Dr Thomas and she did the same thing . I asked her if I could finish the first question. She at that point started calling me!!!! Rude and stated she heard everything I said to the nurse and that I was rude to her also. I mean this doctor was ruling at me!!! I apologized to her explained in have not been sleeping due to this rash but I just would like to finish the question so that she can get the correct info about my symptoms. She continued yelling explaining that they get a lot of rude patents like me. I told her listen I have apologized and would like to move on. She continued. I will never ever go back to this facility. I am 70 yrs old a senior and sick but they had no consideration for this at all. Just totally rude and disrespectful
